I am in Australia, and have been using a Canon 24-105 on several different camera bodies starting in 2009 with a Canon 50d, then a Canon 7D, and now on a Canon 5D111. I use this lens as a general walk around lens. It has had, generally, a pretty easy life over the past 5 years.
