A4(B8 Platform) Discussion - MMI not working - I have a 2009 A4 P+. I got in the car the other evening, and the MMI screen didn't turn on. Holding the volume/power button didn't work. All of the buttons around the MMI controls didn't work. No bluetooth, radio, nada. I turned the car off and back on, still nothing.

Ifyou dont give a code your new battery, it work but it is advisable code so that sistem knows that it has a new battety and what battery. Battery recommendable is 110 Ah. Use the pull down menu to select the battery (slave) listed as 1. Enter the new Battery Part Number (10 or 11 digits).
Forum A7 - Audi MMI will no longer connect to phone as a media device - Yesterday my phone stopped connecting to my car as a media player. I can still make and receive calls through the car but I can't play music. When I go to the media player I get a message saying This medium or device is being loaded.
Aftersome messing around over the course of a few days, I finally got it working. I had to go, via the MMI, to Menu > Audi smartphone interface > Change to connection manager (I plugged my phone in at this point) > Audi smartphone, after that just follow the prompts on both the MMI and your phone to get CarPlay set up.
